The latest Festival of Frugality #106 is up at Moolanomy. On it I’ve discovered some blogs I wasn’t aware of that I’m looking forward to following. Here are some of my favorite posts from this festival:
The “I Deserve It” Factor at The Financial Blogger- A frank look at excuses we use to justify luxury spending. This is a subject I plan on tapping myself in the near future…
Paper Briquette Maker at Bean Sprouts- This is one of those gadgets that seems so practical I can’t believe I wasn’t already aware of it. If you have a fireplace or a wood-burning stove, you need to see this!
Ten Things You Should Never Buy at Regular Price at Two Pennies Earned- Very common sense things. It’s a good starter list and I hope it gets expanded on.
Three reasons why you will become wealthier by using cash at Financially stAble- At a time when I’m working on maximizing my rewards card benefits its good to be reminded of how cash can be your friend.
Free Online College Courses From American Universities- my own contribution to the festival. When we think of all the fre things we can obtain from the web, a college education isn’t usually one of them. Take a look at what is available at no cost to you and my suggestions for how you can take advantage of this.
