The 40th Carnival of Money Stories is up over at Money Walks. Its the one year anniversary edition and definitely worth your time. Here are a few of my favorites from this carvival:
The Story of My First Time Investing at The Investor’s Journal- if you’ve been thinking about opening an online trading account, read this first. If you’re an experienced investor, you might find this story eerily familiar.
My 401(k) Is Killing Me, I’ll Never Retire! at Free From Broke- A sentiment I’m sure many can relate to.
Why Am I Unpopular at Christmas? at My Dollar Plan- Sweet baby Jesus, I wish someone had given me presents like this when I was young!
How I became financially independent in 5 years - Part I at Early Retirement Extreme- This story really sucked me in and I’ll definitely be reading Part 2!
The Cost Of Being Cheap: $781.00- My own contribution to the carnival about how my own propensity for being cheap is sometimes my worst enemy. Read about how I learned a simple lesson the hard way so you don’t have to.
